What to do about Duplicate or Missed Magazines From your Subscription Order
So you've finally got your subscription started up from ordering a magazine online and now you find that you are missing issues. How could this happen? The cause of this situation is usually a glitch in the publisher's computer system or a postal delivery problem.
If your magazine subscriptions have already started and you are now missing issues this is one type of problem. For this, you will need to contact the publisher directly to find out why your magazine is not being delivered. This can normally be corrected with a simple telephone call to the publisher (the publisher's toll free number is usually found on one of the pages in the front of the magazine). You can also fill out one of our customer support forms and we'll check it out too. That is why we get paid the big bucks of course.
We also suggest that you contact your local post office and have them do what is called a postal watch to determine where your magazine(s) are being delivered. Sometimes addresses get mixed up locally or we even find that in public type places like apartment buildings, people take other people's subscriptions. It's not easy getting cheap discounts on magazine subscriptions. it makes it even worse when they don't show up, so we know your frustration.
Now, if you are receiving duplicate issues in the mail, it may be because you or someone else ordered the magazine twice or that your renewal was processed as a new subscription by the publisher. Also, if your name and address information did not match your original subscription order, the publisher may have processed the order as a new and separate order.
Please fill out our support form or contact the publisher directly. All you need to do is to ask that the two subscriptions be combined into one. They will give you a credit - or more likely extend the subscription - for the duplicate issues you've received. The publisher's information is usually found in the front of the magazine in what is called the masthead - near the table of contents or on a page near it.
